My inspiration was Lucy Maud Montgomery’s childhood home on Prince Edward Island. We visited it 1-1/2 years ago and it was really the hydrangea bush that caught my eye. But I loved the cottage style features as well. I chose to crop my reference photo. This is painted in oil on a cradled gallery depth panel.
