This is an acrylic painting on gallery-wrapped canvas. Blakeney Rapids is a pleasant network of trails and footbridges following the Mississippi River in Eastern Ontario Canada as it rushes through a series of rapids and falls. I often visit this beautiful site for plein air painting with my group. I started this painting on site but as usual, did not get it finished and completed it at home.
