Beach Cruiser- Bikes are a main form of transportation on the island of Holbox, Mexico. I am sure their owners have parked here in the shade and have headed off to the beach. I use an acrylic medium to prime my gesso board first. Then I run items through it to give it texture then let it dry before painting on it with oils. I am attracted to all the natural textures of the beach and like the way this technique creates another dimension and energy.
