This is an oil painting of a restaurant in downtown Pacific Grove that's been a local gem for over 30 years, and has lots of fond memories for so many people in the community myself included. I tried to capture the warmth and inviting atmosphere with the scene one would see walking up the sidewalk as they approach the entrance.
