One evening I was sitting in my chair and glanced over toward the kitchen where I caught this image of our dog Chester (a PBGV) in his beggar pose trying to get some attention. The lighting and highlighting around and on Chester drew me in and I knew I had to paint this moment. This is a watercolor painting on Arches 140# Cold Press paper using Daniel Smith watercolor paints.
