This is a studio painting done from digital images and sketches done on a trip to the east coast including Nova Scotia, Canada. My wife and I were enchanted by the colorful fishing boats at Peggy's Cove in Halifax! When we got home from our trip I painted a number of coastal boat scenes from Maine, Massachusetts, and in Nova Scotia, Canada. This was one of my favorites.
