Seeking new vistas of rural valleys of the Central Coast of California, I drove out Highway 33 to Ojai to discover orange groves, high mountains, and green so deep that it reminded me of the carolinas on the east coast. As I set up my easel in this valley, my intention was to portray the abundance of this beautiful place.
