Not About Size

One winter morning my neighbor called and told me the Trumpeter swans had arrived at our back pond. I laid in between the reeds on the snow and did a photoshoot of the huge Trumpeter swans and the smaller Canadian geese that landed that morning. The size of the two birds amazed me as they shared space in the water. The Canadian geese are pretty territorial, and it was amazing watching them try to run the Trumpeter swans off the pond. Just proves that it's not all about size when it comes to the ruler of the pond!
