"Last Light" was inspired by my visit to the Adirondack Park in Northeastern New York, where one is completely surrounded by the beauty of nature. In this area, autumn is characterized by a range of warm colors and a sense of peacefulness, conveyed in the painting through the use of indirect light and a subdued, earthy palette.
