"Waiting for the Storm" depicts a frozen landscape in the heart of winter. The moiling clouds above the still earth provide visual contrast as well as attest to the seemingly paradoxical harmony of nature. The glazing technique blends different textures and hues to capture the subtle variations that exemplify the unique beauty of winter.
