Moment of Tranquility

This painting, which I created based on a moment I captured in Cancún, portrays a serene scene where a girl gazes at the ocean from the edge of a pool. I used a spatula technique to achieve a smooth, glassy finish, blending various shades of blue with broad, sweeping motions. This method not only creates a striking visual effect but also adds depth to the scene by blurring the boundary between reality and reflection. The interplay of the girl's reflection and the pool's edge enhances this effect, inviting viewers to ponder the connection between humans and nature.
