This was a plein-air piece completed in early Spring 2024. I was attracted to the color in the light bouncing off the wet rocks and the variety of shapes and patterns in the rocks as well. I really enjoy the challenge of capturing all the effects of light on the landscape, particularly reflections and bounced light as well as atmospheric.
