This piece was inspired by a forest scene in Acadia, Maine. My goal was to use the dappled light to pull the viewer in and make their eyes dance across the path, pulling them further into the forest and passing gnarled trees along the way. In this piece the focus on the green leaves is more in the background to create a focal point.
