Lunch at Gilbert’s

The painting depicts a long-standing staple of Portland, Maine’s dock-side eateries. I was struck by the dynamic lighting of the scene, together with the locals dining, and that iconic coke-machine. My goal was to capture that quintessential New England coastal feel.
