I have enjoyed the outdoors since the I was a kid camping with my family. The woods reminds me of those times. I usually start with a pencil compositional sketch. Then when I am happy with it I start with a toned canvas and sketch in the drawing with a paint brush. Then I block in the large areas and I then the details. Most times I start with the background and work forward.
