The Rio Grande in northern NM is a clear, fast running river carving out canyons and tumbling over boulders in its path. The high desert vegetation along the river has delicate hues of pink and sage and violets. The contrast of these delicate colors against the vivid blue river shadows and sky is captivating to me.
